Car hire huge price increase!

Anyone else started looking for 2022 and seen a rise in car hire prices?

We’ve used US Rent a Car for a few years now and the same car I had booked for 2020 at £503 is now £1,372 - crazy!

Plenty of threads on the car hire section discussing the same thing - huge price increases indeed.

I had a look for this year and the prices were ridiculous! We gave up and have booked Disney hotels instead.

Loads of great information on there - Mr Tom Morrow is the oracle and I am sure if he ever went on Mastermind his specialised subject would be Florida Car Hire

SC. Not just me. Quite a few here are real experts. Some even know the cubic feet of the cabin!

Would agree with this, for this year we’re paying only £150 more for a Standard SUV than 2018, £550 in total for 2 weeks in August.

Elsewhere prices are circa £1000 to £1200

Try Andy at discount Florida car hire. He gave me a much more acceptable quote.

I tried a number of websites including discount Florida car hire. All of them were ridiculous prices most over £1k for standard SUV. From reading a number of threads on here I contacted Andy at discount Florida car hire and asked him. He is able to offer a quote off line which was very good in all honesty it was cheaper than last year and I can still cancel it any time free of charge if the holiday didn’t come off or prices drop dramatically.
Deffo give Andy a try send him a email instead of quote on-line.
