Does anyone know when MNSSHP normally gets announced and has anyone heard anything about this years event.

It’s normally announced by now. There’s been no news on whether it will be announced.

I would keep an eye on the park times when they are announced when they get towards the end of August into September to see what times the MK is open to to see if the park close times. If its a 7pm close, there maybe a chance. They have also begun replacing some of the led floodlights along main street. So usual repairs or we need to get these done for nighttime parades? Plus if they do cut the 6 to 3 feet social distancing rule that means higher capacity and they have put job ads for various cm roles including qs locations, custodial, full time housekeeping so that points to higher park capacities...

If you look at certain days for MK in Sept, you will notice that on what would be party nights, it's closing at 6:00- now this may be an indication that they want/need to clear the park from 6:00 until it starts at 7:00, putting a stop to the early entry from 4:00 of previous years. They do really need to see the return of parades & fireworks though as otherwise $100 is pretty expensive for a bag of candy

I hope you're right! Although the 6pm close was introduced a few years back and the party guests were still allowed in at 4pm, it would now make sense that party guests wouldn't be allowed in until 7 to allow for the capacity restrictions.

It’s really not great though if you pick your days and they end up closing early on the day you’ve picked and you miss the fireworks (if they’re back by then!), especially if you then can’t find availability at any of the other parks.
