Definitely the regular disposable surgical masks for me. I bring along spares though as on particularly hot days they can really get completely saturated by sweat by the time I get to work...
That’s good to know. I suspected they might be best, so we plan to buy a big box of them if we do go in August.

Disposable definately best in heat. Shein are doing some nice patterned ones currently, make a nice change from surgical blue. My DD also bought a box of pink ones from Amazon.

They were from AliExpress? Strange American website lol! I thought I'd risk it and see what happened! Took 3 weeks to arrive but all good and I'm very pleased with them! Had to pay a customs charge on check out, think it was around £2.70? Plus shipping?

There are different people selling them but I bought mine from;
m.aliexpress/item/100500...05002272328081

Hope that works ok? 👍 also they do children's sizes so make sure you check which is which?

Hopefully they wont be needed at all! I'm sure I read a post yesterday that suggested a possibility that they will only be needed indoors by August if the trajectory of vaccinations is correct!
We can only hope of course!

I'm sure there will be those who don't feel safe not wearing one and I think that is fine but the thought of possibly not having to wear one if I don't have to makes me very excited!

At Trafford Centre yesterday, we noticed that shops were selling off their masks. A sure sign that their use is coming to an end over here.

Was at Center Parcs last week & they were selling branded adult & childrens masks in the supermarket. We got a couple of the adult ones - can't tell that fabric they are made out of (no label & packaging binned) but very comfortable, lightweight and fairly breathable. I'd be quite happy using these in the Florida heat / humidity. They are washable and would dry easily overnight.

May be an option to consider if you are / know someone who is going to Center Parcs. Only downside is CP have taken a leaf out of Disney's pricing strategy manual - they're £5 each.

I was going to say the same. They are lighter and its far easier to breath in one.

I used polycotton double thickness ones with a plastic nose piece in hot (36 degrees most days)and humid weather in Turkey last year. No steaming up and 3 masks, one soaking, one drying the other wearing. Worked for me
