Manchester Airport Parking

Like many others after Virgin cancelling all Glasgow flights we are now looking at travel arrangements including parking at Manchester Airport.
It appears that we have several options and the simplest one is the official airport parking.
What is the difference between meet & greet and drop & go.

Pretty sure it's the same thing. We use Drop and Go at MAN regularly, it's excellent. Enter the car park, drop your keys at the kiosk, they give you a card and you pick it up afterwards. It's literally just across from the terminals - no bus ride. Managed by MAG.

Meet and Greet covers a wide range of other operators (mostly squeezed out by MAG).

We’ve always done Meet and Greet and it’s exactly as Kacy describes and very convenient.

Not sure what drop and go is but we’ll be doing meet and greet again this year.

Do prices ever drop for this? We live an hour away from airport and we were going to get a taxi however we've previously had our car stolen whilst we were sleeping so would feel safer having the cars at the airport (there's 6 of us so need to take 2 cars). It's currently £120ish each for MAG.

I’ll also be making my way to Manchester from Glasgow , i did consider driving but feel bad as my partners the only one who can drive so for him to drive like 3hrs or so then get on the plane and then need to drive the entire 2.5 week holiday seems mean so we’re gonna get a train down the night before and stay at the radisson BLU 🤞🏻

We’ll drive if the train plan falls through 😂

Meet and Greet - Drive to the terminal. Car park is the closest to the terminal
Drop & Go - Car park is 5 mins from the terminal. Drop keys, walk/bus to terminal (5 mins). They still park your car for you.

Essentially, drop and go is M&G just with a bit of a longer walk.

Same as you, just booked the meet and greet and premier inn for the night before we leave having been bumped from Glasgow.

Make sure you use the link from money saving expert for holidayextras when booking the official parking as it will save you just over 20%. Dropped ours from £140 to £110 for the 3 weeks.
