First time cruiser
I’m looking at booking a 7 night Bahamian cruise for next Easter for my 40th birthday and my mum’s retirement. There will also be DH and DS (9).We are really tight with dates as we can only go in school holidays. We have seen the ideal dates for a Celebrity cruise, sailing from Fort Lauderdale.Anyone got any experience of celebrity cruises with children?

Celebrity ships are beautiful and have plenty of activity for children just not the all singing all dancing way that Royal or Disney do, so no water slides or climbing walls etc, but large kids club areas, and small sports deck usually.
Our boys loved these cruises, am sure you would have a lovely time.

Thank you for that, that’s very reassuring.I have looked at Royal Caribbean in the past, and I can see that there aren’t as many kids activities on Celebrity but DS is the type of child who likes to spend holidays with us and he has never been to a kids club.We would also drive to Orlando after the cruise and do Seaworld and Aquatica so we could get our water slide fix that way!Celebrity cruises look so much easier with the all inclusive side of things.
