Weather today

I have been out working this evening and I can't believe the weather we have just had. I live in Whitstable along the Kent coast. Since 4 we have had sun, torrential rain, thunder and lightning, snow and hail. We are now back to having sunshine😳. Never known weather like it.

Cold, windy, rain and hail. This is not what I want from May 😎
Need some sunshine to cheer us all up I think.

Been like that in London - i had a online meeting at 1530 and it was really stormy; looked out to see my terrace covered in ice then sunny again now rain and thunder ! April showers in May plus I know I should have sent hours typing up the leaves and debris from the weekend storms this morning (and had window cleaners in) - all to re-do again tomorrow

It’s lovely here in North Wales at the moment
It’s been horrible here most of the day and all week too heavy rain cold strong winds and hailstones.
We had a really heavy hailstone shower about 5.30 this morning.
Tomorrow looks better not sure about Friday but Saturday isn’t looking great

I gave in and put my heating on at 4pm it’s cold here in Essex, I really shouldn’t have to do this in May 🙄🥶

It seems to have been nationwide.

Just finished cutting the lawn in Rugby at lunchtime and it started to snow, then hail, then sleet, then torrential rain all inside 15 minutes. Clear blue skies now but heating on.

A bit cold and cloudy here. Started off beautiful and sunny but had sleet and snow at times along with a couple of heavy rain showers. Looks like summer.
