Android 11

Has anyone updated to android 11 on a Samsung yet?

Have read there has been some problems. Just wondering if to upgrade or wait a bit.

Actually, I did have an issue. After I upgraded, Samsung health was hammering the battery on my Galaxy watch. I stopped background use and rebooted the watch and everything has been fine.

Is this for the S20 range?

Best advice with Samsung devices is to wait a bit as then nearly always have bugs in how their applications interact with the OS and can take time to fix.

So far the S20 Android 11 users Galaxy S20 users are reporting abnormal battery drain, installation issues, notification issues, problems with first and third-party apps, UI lag, charging issues, data issues, gesture issues, Wi-Fi problems, volume problems, and more.

They are apparently getting resolved so I would give it another month or two for them to get through the list.

It's the s10. The notification is bugging me as keeps popping up.

I don't use health app. But I have have read the battery is reduced as well as the camera being blurry. That I do use.

Oh dear God I hope not more stuff to go wrong. I had a Windows 10 upgrade last week, 49 upgrade units to be exact, which stopped me being able to get on my own Broadband for 2 days. Deleted all 49 and I'm back to normal thank God.

The battery on the phone has been fine as is the camera

Just a thought, when were those reports from. There had been problems and Samsung had pulled the updates for the S10. However they restarted them at the end of January which was when I updated

Some of the mentions of problems I saw were late jan. I'll. Just leave it a while before I change it.

They rolled out the February patch update on the 27/01 with the Android 11 update.

You would have expected them to have got the worst of the bugs out by the next monthly patch, so maybe wait for that. I wouldn't wait any longer then that really. It should only be 3 weeks or so.
