Those that have been to the parks during covid...
What happens when somebody isn't wearing their mask when they should be? Also, what if its a child not wearing one?
Was just wondering how they are dealing with people in the parks! |

I doubt many of us on here have been, but from my extensive following of podcasts and vlogs, it seems that they are very strict about adherence.
Simply, if you're spied without a mask on, you will be asked to put one on immediately and those that won't will be asked to leave the parks. It really does seem to be a case of no mask = go home. I'm not sure if any exemptions at all are permitted. |

I've watched alot of vlogs and everyone is wearing maks, I just wondered if anyone on here has seen or experienced it. I thought we had a few people that live in Florida!

My understanding is no mask, no entry, no exceptions.

I’m interested to know what they are doing about the very young...
Zero chance if I put a mask on my 2 year it’s staying on, are they going to families they can’t go in? Who would spend that money and make that effort if a 2 year stops you getting in? They should be looking to raise that threshold soon though. |

I know the difficulty I had in getting my two to keep a cap on their heads when it was a blazing hot day when they were little so I don't think I'd have stood a chance with face masks on them.
From the little I've seen in vlogs there are some rest areas where people can take their masks off, but it does seem to be full compliance with wearing them and cast members are apparently very quick to point out if someone is not complying.

Have only been to Disney parks and Disney Springs, but cast members / Disney management and security are pretty strict on mask compliance, even for those not wearing correctly.
At Disney Springs I did see someone being told that if they didn't wish to follow the requirements, they would be escorted out by security.

Disney absolutely enforce the mask rule and do not make any exceptions. My daughter belongs to a Disney with Disabilities forum and many people report being told there are absolutely no exceptions. Cast members ate constantly monitoring compliance.
I have seen many young children wearing masks without issues. The age limit is low here everywhere not just in the theme parks. In Osceola County, our children can go to school in person but have to wear masks including the youngest children. Any child who can't cope simply has to do online school. Children are far more adaptable than many parents think. I have been to Disney with a completely deaf 4 year old who is probably also autistic. He is a definite handful at times. His mom sewed buttons onto a cap to attach the ear loops to and hold it in place. He quickly learned if he wanted to stay in the park the mask had to stay on. However they are locals with annual passes, I would be more concerned about keeping it on during the flight if I was coming from the UK with a young child.
