Lots of it was shot in Clifton and central Bristol, so we enjoyed spotting the different locations. Not sure why they are loosing their hair? Will definitely watch part 2.

Yes watched Episode 1 last night

Good so far and lots of potential twists to the characters who are obviously not as straightforward as they appear

I had to ask my DH if the male lead Rufus Sewell was related to Ian McShane as he definitely looks like him ! But was told not.
Anyone else think so ?

Not actually heard of this story before so its nice not to know the ending ! All the many adaptations of Death on The Nile are spoilt for me as I know the tale so well

I enjoyed it too but very familiar with the two previous adaptions (one with Julia McKenzie was only on again the other week) but like this one not really like the book so it’s like something new .

Filming was a bit hit and miss with modern burglar alarm, sodium street lighting and 1990’s black taxi cab in full display (these things amuse me but also annoy me as attention to detail visually lacking !)

This was shot in my village, so sorry if we didn't completely remove all signs of modern life! It was quite an upheaval having the village taken over for a fortnight, but they did donate lots of money to local projects so we aren't that annoyed

All the flaws I spotted were filmed in central Bristol (one beside a well known gay bar and street lights near Clifton )
