Mobile Cameo silhouette or Cricut

Just starting my research on these on youtube. Wanting to use for vinyls mainly.

On The software differences - I'm pretty OK with Adobe so the more designer style software won't be an issue

Anyone got these or used both and can give some pros and Cons

Cheers

I have the Cameo, on the whole I have been very impressed with it. Every so often it does miss cut (out of alignment) with occasional issues where it miss scales a drawing.

I draw everything in a CAD drawing and then import into the silhouette software for cutting.

I mostly use it for cutting 20thou plastic sheet which is pushing the limits of the cutter.

I don't know if it's changed, but I found the cricut software was very restrictive, ie I could use their designs, and make minor alterations, but I couldn't create or import my own.
