It does seem quite long, but still moving quicker than March 2020 for me!

Oh don't we decided last February when we went to SAn Francisco and Hawaii to go back this late Jan Feb and do what we couldn't fit in ( a revisit to Alcatraz at night revisit Pearl Harbour we just ran out of time there etc ) and maybe just may be see if we could make a very small apartment in Hawaii work for us a big big surprise to us both as we hate the beach but the climate is just amazing particularly for me
So this month is very very long indeed

This feels like the longest January ever (and I’ve always hated this month) although on the plus side this week seems to have gone a bit quicker than the last 2.
I’m fed up being in that endless groundhog routine with nothing to look forward to.

It has gone really quickly for me, I feel like it is sill the first week. That could be because I have decided to keep the Christmas tree up for longer than normal.

I was made redundant in October and decided to get the decorating in the house done up until Christmas . All done and we all enjoyed Christmas and New Year . I have been on the computer ever since looking for a part time job , absolute nightmare at my age . January seems very long to me . 🤓

It's whizzing by.

I wanted to read more books this year, as I just haven't been reading enough, so I gave myself the modest target of reading 10 pages of fiction and 10 pages of non-fiction each day.

That didn't happen on New Years Day but no matter, I thought, I can easily read 20 pages on each on the 2nd to catch up.

It's now the bloody 20th, and I'm faced with reading 400 pages just to catch up!

That’s a bit like the approach my son is taking to his home learning!

I am finding January is speeding by, but then I have been very busy planning my upcoming birthday party. My wife is the only guest but I plan to make it a special event and I’m trying desperately to get a Colin the Caterpillar cake from Marks and sparks but I won’t go in shops and no delivery slots are available🥲.
