I'm afraid you don't know the whole story. Don't assume the engineers are the font of all knowledge.

I didnt say i did know everything... I was just letting Dib people know that things might be disrupted from Thursday for a few days...

As you can see people are not happy with BG at the moment so was just trying to be helpful..

Homeserve have an unpublished SLA of 3 days so they are no better than British Gas ( found out to my cost last year!)

Do you have emergency cover on your home inurance? We had an issue with our boiler at the begining of lockdown and the insurance sent somebody the next day to fix it.
