holiday booking cancelling twitching time

with the present situation how many months would you start to cancel your bookings for flights (if you can), accomadation, car hire etc
we have booked for sept 21 but as we get further into jan feel less optimistic than i did before Christmas.

We won’t be cancelling anything until we have too. ie: when balances need to be paid. I think we will have a clearer picture come end of April, May time.

Our banking window for DVC is July 31st, I'll need to know by then whether I am cancelling our Aug/Sep DVC bookings. Flights can be moved right up to a couple of days before so not too worried about that.

2m vaccinations so far, 11 days into January. That bodes very well for Sept I think.

Same- our balance due end of April so will decide then. Staying offsite at margaritaville/ villa and booked US and Disney tickets separately- for which balance not due until 10 days before and we can cancel at any time and get deposit back. Everything crossed things will be looking rosier by April.

I’m not sure we will be going this year ,similar date to you ,but can’t see enough people being vaccinated and I don’t want to go wearing mask , I’m thinking of changing to may next year 😞

Our balance not due till July but we are going to see how things are in April. Tbh im really not convinved October going to be good. Not just the will USA let us in then but I want the full disney experience and if restrictions still in place I dont feel like will get that. Currently Virgin only letting holidays upto August be changed for free.

We were due to go in June but found out that the villa we had booked was up for sale and the villa owner is not responding to my emails so have cut our losses and rebooked for Xmas and are just waiting till flights come out to move them with BA.

We had flights to US (not Orlando) booked for April at one time and we decided probably more than six months ago that this wasn’t going to happen so we cancelled. We swapped to Japan for April and we cancelled that maybe November, possibly December. I book hotels on the basis of cancellation any time up to the day before arrival so that was straight forward.

We currently have flights to Orlando booked for September, I will make a decision maybe July or when the Disney hotel s due for payment.

Oh my I hadn’t even thought of our September trip , dead cert we will be there .

My may trip however slightly concerned.

Will I be cancelling September no way , if we can fly we’re going
