I think that was a bit of a joke figure though. They provided the cars on property, then scrapped them when people weren’t willing to pay the extra, and I think they thought “Let’s see how much more people will pay for a Lyfft with Minnie branding”. If there had been virtually no takeup, they would probably have dropped the price. But evidently some people were willing to pay it - for a while at least.

We only went in 2018 for the first time btu since then no free dining, no free easy transfer from the airport direct to your hotel (godsend with young kids after a long flight) having to pay to park a car at the hotel (insane that one!) adn currently no fast pass.

We went to disney paris 2013 - 2018 and slowly seen the perks there erode away (randomly the character meets being removed from the hotel in the morning was mos annoying! was great having a tiny queu to meet them and really started the day with a smile! its only hiring someone to don an outfit its hardly expensive but gives so much back)

i can see by 2025 the difference will be vast compared to our first and there will be no way to get us back in their hotels!

With a bit of research its very easy to get your head round Florida and you really don't need to be onsite (we used Lyft last time and its cheaper than hire car + parking)

They are well overdue a change in CEO, to one that's more Walt, less Roy !

Interestingly, Walt was never CEO of the Disney company. Roy was CEO for the first 40 years and was the one in charge when Disneyland and Magic Kingdom were built. Roy was also in charge for all the early classic Disney movies (everything from Snow White to Bedknobs and Broomsticks).

And Bob Chapek only became CEO last year, so it's not like he's been in the job for long.

(Regarding the theme parks, Josh D'Amaro has also only been chairman for a year, replacing Bob Chapek last May).
