Apart form the awful theme song I quite enjoyed it but it certainly wasnt up there as a Bond classic for me (and like you I generally love Bond)

Another putting her tin hat on for a *Christmas classic!*
Love Actually! When it came out I was so looking forward to it as I love Notting Hill, Bridget Jones, 4 Weddings etc, but I don't get how it's nearly always top of the list of Christmas films, I just don't get it I really don't!

I know lots of people that love it and say they its a must for Christmas too but like you I don’t get it. I watched it once years ago and that was enough. I cant remember much of the story but dont him there was much to it - fluff and fluff. It is not i the same class as the others your mention which I really enjoy but dont seem to get played as much as love actually

The Holiday is on TV every Christmas but is normally late at night, I have watched half way quite a few times but always get tired and go to bed, I've never seen the end.

Christmas in Palm Springs is like that - I enjoy the concept but it’s such a budget film I switch off half way through but I do try and watch it (really just to see Palm Springs)

I find it happens more with tv series. I’m currently watching the Serpent, I’m 4 episodes in and am getting bored with it. It was the same with Battlestar Gallactica, when it started, I thought it was superb, but halfway through the 3rd series and I’m bored by it. It changed for me when they settled on the new planet, it’s not been the same since.

I did that recently with the Dynasty re-boot. I had LOVED the original - out was a place to ease to back in the bullying days and initially I enjoyed the re-boot and how sexuality and race had been updated etc. But I haven’t finished season 1 (of far too many seasons) and although Netflix keeps reminding me to resume viewing I have lost al interest . Will see how long this present lockdown lasts as I may just feel like escaping again into it

My wife wanted to see 50 Shades of Grey and insisted that I go with her.

I dozed off halfway through, such was it’s mediocrity and as we left, there was a queue waiting to go in, My wife saw a friend and loudly asserted

“Well that’s 2 hours of my life wasted that I can never get back”.

I can’t say that many of those waiting to go in were particularly chuffed to hear this.. (mainly rather inebriated females and just the odd, shifty looking bloke, I might add).

It never appealed to me and like you there would be a high chance I would have nodded off (I do that when in warm dark places and bored) - I also slept though double showing of Star Wars films frown about 5 mins in and allegedly to my friends, snored loudly and they couldn’t wake me - good quality sleep tho &#128077
