Out of the loop and never been in August, what do you think of this quote

We have never been in august but given the girls are now 17&14 we are stuck so been looking for Aug 22 (yes I know it’s early)
Flying from Bristol with Tui 20th Aug 2022 for 14 nights
2 adults 2 children (17&14) luggage etc
14 nights cabana bay tower family suite £5140

The girls want the universal experience having stayed in Disney the last time, I wanted I drive for cheaper food options but not finding something that looks ok for our family; I guess we can Uber ?

Help August virgins!

I think Tui are flying in Melbourne Airport and not Sanford , will you have transport to get you to Universal from the airport? It's just with you mentioning Ubers. It's about 75miles.

See how much 2 connecting rooms are in Aventura. My teenage kids (similar age) loved Aventura as it is quite a cool hotel and I think we paid similar to the family suite (maybe a bit more) than Cabana for 4 queen beds, 2 fridges, 2 full bathrooms etc. I know we looked at both.

I’m paying £5650 for 17/08-02/09 2022, virgin fly drive to Miami, 5 bed villa and 3 nights club level at Hard Rock, for 2 adults & 2 teens 16 & 14.

I don’t think that quote is too bad, for the whole time onsite at Cabana Bay, I would have done the same but my husband refuses to stay in a hotel for the entire time 🙄. If it’s a price you’re happy with then that’s all that matters. Next year is so uncertain that I think we have to bite the bullet, and we always have a max price in our head and as long as we’re within that we’re happy!

I have booked! I figure the room cost alone is £2600 so 4 flights from Bristol in august for £2500 is there or there about so I have done it! Eek !
