£110,000 for private jet

Just looking round and a figure quoted for a private jet for 13 people return to Miami is £110,000 return

So £8000 per person if the plane is full. Flying time 8 hours.

Quite a good price I think, it's just a question of finding 11 more people who want to go at the same time as us. I dont want to include my family as they would expect us to pay for them to!

When there was a champions league game in Russia and no flights available, a friend of mine got a private jet. It worked out at £2k per person, which I thought was great value. I’d never thought about the cost before - never entered my head. So, yes, as long as you’re not paying for family, maybe it’s the way to go 😆

I would (and have in the past) do it - not to Miami but certainly it can work out well to Spain to get home for Christmas and back to work and I am interested California after covid if enough interest. If, say, everyone had the jab then it could he a safer flight and that interests me very much

Sounds like a bargain 8k a person ... I wonder how many dibbers that this will appeal to or how many can afford it too?

32k for a family of 4 before accommodation and park tickets ... I can’t see it being popular!

I know my brother looked into the cost of getting a private jet from London up to Glasgow a couple of years ago. I don’t know the actual amount but he said it wasn’t as much as he would’ve thought. In the end he just used easyJet ...

Sounds brilliant if its affordable to people, we would if we could (lottery, long lost rich uncle etc!)

Son just got 2 flights to Orlando for £540 each in Aug. 9 hours, watch a few films have a drink, sleep, £15k better off! 🤣🤣

But yes if we could who wouldn't!

If you’re VERY flexible there are agents out there who can offer empty private jets that are being repositioned by their owner where they’ll take a relatively low offer to take the flight as a way to help cover the costs. Of course this means you get no choice over route and normally very little flexibility on timing.

My cousin is or used to be director of a private charter company based at Farnborough , he was chief pilot for many years for some king of one of the gulf states. Often he would have seat offers up for us , but none of our side of family had the money to use them.
