Everyone is doing so well with going on to do park runs.

Can’t believe I completed week 5 today. W5R3, 20 minute run, I honestly never thought I would manage but I did. I have hope that I’ll complete it now.

So this happened today...

So proud of myself. I had a 10 day gap when I went on holiday and a 4 day gap due to blisters around week 8. I’m so pleased I have stuck with it. Next up is a 5k run at Chessington World of Adventures.

The Castaway Cay 5k is special, well done for doing it and you are right to be proud . As soon as I did mine I kicked off my trainers & socks and dived straight into the ocean, it was the most blissful thing ever 😄

Don’t wait too long to get back out there, I didn’t feel too bad the second morning we were home and went for a run, I really think it helped with the jet lag.

Well done and good luck with the 5k

I completed Week 1 on Saturday, but have decided to do it again before moving to week 2. I’ve read a couple of articles that say if you’ve not run before, it can help to build the initial stamina before progressing through the program. Must admit, i’m feeling really good having completed week 1 - although I wasn’t expecting to sweat quite as much as I have!

I’d say that if you completed week 1 then move onto week 2 and see how you get on. The program is designed to be completed in 9 (?) weeks so there should be no need to repeat weeks. I was a complete non runner before I started and even though I found some weeks really tough I never felt the need to repeat a week. I did sometimes repeat one run during a week but that was only if I couldn’t complete it for some reason.

Week 7 done for me!
Each run seems to be totally different for me at the minute, some are fine and some are hard. Can’t quite figure it out.

I’ve got a personal question for the ladies (men may be able to help...), but what underwear are people wearing on their runs 😳? I run in leggings and boring old cotton knickers, but I’m having wedgie issues 😳.

Embarrassing post! Haha!
