Amazing thing to do - you don't need luck, you'll smash it!
I've done half marathons but I got a ballot place in the London marathon for 2020 so I'm training up for that now - scary! Any top tips you can give, please feel free. Especially on fuelling/hydration for long runs and the event day. Cheers Joa

Wow 40 miles done! I carried on past my destined distance and did the full Ultra marathon. So proud to say I'm now an ultra marathon runner. Plus the organisers gave me the full medal instead of the 20 so chuffed with that as I wasn't expecting it 🥰
The mud was absolutely ridiculous and at one point I was knee deep in it. Totally thought I was gonna lose my shoe. But the rain stayed off 😍

Well done- that is unbelievable!
You deserve a hot bath and a lie in tomorrow. I thought 40 miles would have burned off more than 5,000 cals - it just goes to show they are easily consumed and not easily burned off x
