I joined Twitter years ago too, just to see what it was like. I posted a few things, but didn’t really like it. Haven’t looked at it for years. Hopefully I can remember details.
I joined FB and log onto it for a look maybe 3 or 4 times a year. I think I’ve only posted once or twice and that was years ago. I’m quite happy to put them down, but if they’re not being used I wonder if that will raise suspicions that you’ve got other accounts. I haven’t BTW.

Hmm, I have both FB & Twitter accounts I do use them both and I will openly admit that I post and share Anti -Trump posts - this does NOT make me a suspected terrorist, just someone with an opinion. I wonder what they will think of me?

Ah, ok. Thanks.
Although as pointed out earlier, the FAQ page says it's optional. Confusing, isn't it!

Yeah, I asked this a couple of years ago back when it was still optional. What exactly do you put down? If I just put my name as per my Facebook account then there are dozens of people in the UK with my name.
I assume it's the login name - which might be an email address? (It's been a while since I've logged in that way so I'm not sure). But that doesn't help because I don't think they can look at my Facebook account with just an email address.

Thankfully the good old US of A is still a democracy that allows free speech You should see what some US resident Dibbers have to say about the current POTUS.

No I don’t think they can in fact I’m sure there’s a question in account privacy settings That asks if you can be searched using email address because I’m sure I remember putting’No’ to that question.
Like you say I’m sure most people will have more than one person with the same name. (My DH has the same name as an actor that played Dr Who so if they search for him that’s who will come up ) |

If you click on your FB profile and look in the address bar, you'll get something like facebook.com/grantwxxxxx and that gives you your FB account name, the bit after facebook.com/
