Cancelled mine years ago, no regrets. Telly is unplugged most of the time now. When I last had Sky at then-OH's request, I found I was watching it more often just because it was there and probably subconsciously felt I had to get value from it.

Can only think of one person in my group of friends that still has it, due to sports. Everyone else has gone streaming only.

In a similar vein we cut back on our Virgin package which included films, and maybe sport. We now have NowTV for the films which works out a lot cheaper. (We even got a 6 month deal which includes Entertainment package as well, which still works out a lot cheaper.)

I was sky free for a couple of months during lockdown but ended up getting it back pretty much only for sport

Binned Sky in 2008, realised immediately we didn't miss it. Freeview is canny, plus there's a myriad of TV shows, tennis and movies available via t'internet.

Its personal choice, Sky works for many, just not us. With a huge amount of choice on iPlayer via our smart TV we're well happy to pay the BBC licence, £14 a month is substantially cheaper than Sky/cable.

We still have it atm, mainly for the kids I think, but I want to cancel. Dh thinks we still need it. We occasionally watch something recorded, kids mainly watch their tablets.

We are now monitoring neflicks usage to see what happens to that. It's on my 'watch' list!

We got rid of Sky yeats ago and got a freeview box that allows us to record terrestrial TV channels. Never looked back.
