Would you call your football stadium Kevin ?

I hope this brings a smile as we do need something at the moment.

Forest Green Rovers have a new stadium and asked their fans on their Twitter page to suggest a new name - 65% voted in favour of KEVIN The Innocent drinks group sponsoring the stadium decided to opt for something more conservative - the Innocent New Lawn Stadium.

I can see the Innocent point of view but the Kevin Stadium has a certain ring to it and shows a sense of humour in our dark times.

It certainly beats the Sports Direct stadium for fun and originality

Innocent have really shot themselves in the foot here by not respecting the vote that they asked for. They could have at least paid lip-service to it by calling it the Innocent Kevin Stadium

Right up until a local lad gets arrested for murder and is called Kevin.

At that point the stadium name becomes an albatross

I am surprised they didn't learn from the Boaty Mcboatface farce.

The got around it by calling one of their submersibles Boaty mcb.

Perhaps a new mascot called Kevin, or a Kevin is innocent stand (and for the sake of balance the Kevin didit stand too).

Best guess is what can they call kev and get away with it...
