How do you pass the time at airports ?
So at the time of writing I am sat in Heathrow terminal 5 waiting for a delayed domestic flight.
I do like people watching but am getting a bit bored with that. So fellow dibbers what do you do to pass the time ? I do have a plan to increase the entertainment value when people watching which involves a mains extension socket and some double sided tape but more of that later maybe ! As always feel free to join in Edited at 11:43 AM. |

I usually peruse social media, listen to music, watch youtube videos, people watch and occasionally buy a magazine or a book

Browse the shops, convince hubby that he really doesn’t need another Superdry t.shirt, take the kids to WHSmiths- spend the equivalent of a months mortgage on sweets and magazines, have food, then spend the rest of the time periodically checking the departure board!

I spend most of my time explaining to security why I have tied Mrs Morrow to a chair.
Simple answer - to keep her out of the Duty Free Shop.

I have to carry a mains extension lead around for work. If I am really bored I put the socket bit on the table next to me and hide the plug in my rucksack and then wait to see how many people want to plug their phones in to charge

We like to try and guess where people are going on holiday. We also like to watch the gate countdown ready for our flight - very sad I know😁.
