Gift card split stay

If you are doing a split stay can you still use your $200 gift card for a character meal during the second week ( off site) or do you need to spend it before at 12 midnight like your dining credits ? Thanks

The money on your gift card lasts for good. We spent my $200 gift card from last March on food this Christmas. Also if you have a few dollars left on the card and are not sure how much you can ask them to take what is on it part payment and then pay the rest yourself. If you go to disneygiftcard you can check the balance on your card.
