New kitchen/dining room results
Following on from KristyA’s great thread about her home improvements, I thought I’d show you my clever hubby’s handy work over the last few weeks.
We had meant to have three weeks in Hawaii, but obviously that was sadly not meant to be, and I was worried how DH was going to cope with three weeks annual leave as he gets bored quickly, and jokingly suggested he refurbished our kitchen! He took me up on the challenge and here are the results. We did use his uncle for the electrics as he’s an electrician. I know I am biased, but considering he has no trade and only basic DIY home improvement experience before, I think he did very well! (His stepdad and cousin helped him on a number of days, but neither of them are in a trade either, so they just pooled their DIY skills - clever chaps! )... Edited at 10:24 AM. |

Wow that looks amazing! We’re waiting for our new kitchen to be delivered but DH definitely won’t be doing any of the installation 😐

That is an incredible change. I bet that you are delighted.
I really like these improvement threads in the absence of trip reports. They ooze positivity... and we need some of that.
