You sort of get to know when the air is damp and it won't dry.

I've given up ... but the airer is in the conservatory. So if I'm around then windows open. If there is any sun it warms pretty well.

Aaahhhh the season of washing maidens. I hate it! If it's not raining I try to put it out just because I hate having wet washing in the house so much but always have to bring it in to finish it off

Around now until end of February. There just isn't enough hours of sunlight to make it worth while.

Full load dry yesterday, next full load will be on line thursday next week.

Drying outside never ends, it just requires more thought

We try to dry stuff putside all year, with DD producing a load on her own every two days it would cost a fortune to use tunble dryer all the time! Unless we get damp days with mist from the river that doesnt shift!

I haven’t hung washing outside for about ten years . Life is too short . Immediately remove from washing machine and hang on hangers to dry if it’s my clothes or OHs “play clothes”. Underwear, towels, bedding and OHs work clothes (construction worker) get tumble dried.
