I've officially got a new countdown - flights booked!
So relieved to get flights booked today.
I had been keeping an eye on flight prices for the same time THIS year and was happy with what I was seeing... I almost fainted when next year's prices appeared around 50% more! Thankfully when I checked again today they were back to what I had originally expected (actually a tiny bit less) so after a little bit of drama on the BA website I managed to speak to a lovely young man on the phone and I'm all booked up. Edinburgh-London-Los Angeles Albuquerque-Dallas-London-Edinburgh The Thelma and Louise Road Trip is now on!

I always seem to have a problem with doing the last day. My Coast to Coast one is missing it's last day too! I will get on to it ... Soon!
