BA Flights Reduction (BE QUICK)

Just had a stroke of luck with the BA Flight sale for anyone else interested.

I have flights booked for Apr 2021 which I booked way back in August. Was a bit annoyed as the black friday deal using the code BASPECIAL came up a few days ago.

Anyhow I phoned BA who refunded the flight of the original £1100 into a voucher. I then rebooked the new flights with the discount which came out at £290 cheaper, so I now have a voucher for £290 to use with BA another time.

Hope it helps someone else but be quick I think it only lasts until tomorrow.

I booked my flights for next September a few weeks ago. I've just had a look and even with the discount they're still more expensive than what I paid.

Hi yes. If you phone them they can authorise it within 4 minutes as opposed to waiting a significant period of time.

im on the phone and trying it now. I have a deposit on a holiday booking I want to use towards it, and this is proving tricky. I will let everyone know how it goes. I could save £450 in total, so worth the faff.

Just a pity this is flight only. Currently have ply drive booked for July so only have £350 deposit tied up with BA. Really don’t want many multiples of this tier up by going down flight only route. In any other year that’s no issue but with things the way they are...
