Celebration meal after wedding
Hi, we are getting married at the Swan and Dolphin next March and are looking at restaurants where we can have our celebration meal. There will be 10 of us in total and was hoping to combine our meal with fireworks. Am looking at the Grand Floridian as an option, either one of their restaurants or boat. Can anyone tell me is it easy to get from the Swan and Dolphin to the Grand Floridian and what the best way would be? Many thanks.

Citricos has a private room that seats up to 12 I think so that might be a good option for you. It does have a minimum spend buts its pretty low and with 10 people you'd hit it no problem.
I think the best thing to do would be to get taxis.

Thank you. As I have never been to Disney before, the logistics are proving more difficult than I thought! Thanks for your suggestion.

Thank you so much. Our wedding coordinator in Florida has said we need to sort out our wedding meal ourselves which I was slightly surprised about as I assumed (wrongly) she would have some suggestions of venues etc. So I now find myself going round in circles trying to research different restaurants etc! Thanks very much for offering to help - much appreciated x

Have you thought about the California Grill for your meal? Up on the 14th floor of the Contemporary Resort - after your meal you can wander out onto the balcony to watch the fireworks?
Not to mention the food and wine list is amazing! |

It's pretty easy to get from the Swan to GF, we're getting married next year and having our meal at the Swan in a private room at Il Mulino and then hiring the Grand 1 yacht to watch Wishes. We'll get taxis to GF after our meal or if any of our guests are too 'cheap' to want to pay they can get a bus to MK I guess.
Or as Claire (chilly80) mentioned Citricos at GF have a private room that seats upto 12 or if you don't mind a regular ADR and being seated with out restaurants guests there are a few other options too I certainly wouldn't describe the Grand 1 as small, its a yacht that has an outside & inside section with 3 bedrooms I think it is, bathroom, lounge area.
