We were lucky enough to DLP last Aug when it was obviously a very different experience than it would have been! We've been to DLP enough times that I really didn't mind not getting the 'full' experience, plus there were a lot of amazing things about that trip (nearly every ride a walk on ) But for our first Florida trip I would love to experience it at its best, whatever that will be going forward, so I'll keep my eyes peeled for updates.

Because it’s your first Florida trip you won’t have the expectations that returners have ,so it’ll be wonderful either way

Last post really nails it, you can't miss what you never saw, if t'internet had been as big back when we started going in '92, you'd be surprised what has actually disappeared. Even more recently there will be people who have never seen the Yeti move on Expedition! Or had the disappointment of 20,000 leagues & everything being plastic & no real fish!Or characters wandering the parks not stuck in "Meet & greet" areas.

Oh, I’m quite envious of you going for the first time!

You will have a complete ball no matter what. Our first trip to Disney (in 2015) was totally unforgettable. When friends ask me what it’s like I always say it’s a Wow kind of holiday as in its “Wow, look at that!” “Wow, that was amazing!” at every turn.

We’re also booked for August 2022 for what will (probably) be our last trip to Florida. I get excited every day thinking about it!
