I’ve got flights to Antigua booked for 21 May.
Very concerned as when I checked 1st thing this morning seat map locked both ways & couldnt book a “new flight” I thought maybe a time or plane change.
Just checked again, seatmap unlocked, more seats seem to have been reserved but still can’t book a new flight.
I REALLY hope Virgin aren’t delaying starting to 1st July for all their routes.

This would all tie in with the speculation about a late June arrangement. I really with the US would announce something though. Even if it’s to say they are keeping the borders closed to us for the next few months. At least we’d know!

We are booked to fly to Vegas with Virgin on 31st May - not heard from them as yet, they are still selling seats for that flight ... time will tell I guess 🤷🏻

Yes exactly. Feels like completely blind hope at the minute with no parameters to go on. Paul Charles has again commented on twitter tonight ( in response to a question about the US) that an agreement for reciprocal travel will be made when Biden visits in June. It almost seems like a ‘who will blink first’ situation. Concerned that that might be too short notice for us and that our July 31st flights might get cancelled before then. Not good for the airlines at all- how can they possibly plan with no clue how soon will are likely to be allowed back in?
