Time for the phone call to fight your case I'm afraid then. I can't see any other way that doesn't put you at risk of getting turned away or a massive bill at check in.

What I don't understand is how it says child against each ticket, I think any bookings made online have to include at least one adult as you have to call to make any bookings for unaccompanied children.

Good point, I've just tried and you can't reduce the adults to zero on the VS website.

Thought so as I remember a few years ago having to call to add on my DGS to our flight.

Having done a quick dummy booking it looks to me like the £2.5K could be the price per person.

Hope you get it sorted OP - happy for someone to get a bargain if at all possible.
