VA Open Ticket

Hi all,

Does anyone know, if you change your flights with VA to a different date, or if you take an open ticket, do you have to book the same cabin class or can you change to a different one?

We currently have upper class tickets in June, but for other dates we have been looking at the prices are ridiculous, about 4k more per person which we obviously won't pay. Would we be able to change to premium instead?

You get a voucher for the amount you paid to spend on what you like. Doesn't even have to be the same destination.

VA have just told me I can only book Upper if I have an open ticket, which concerns me slightly with the current prices. Just hoping they cancel my flight now so I can get a refund!

Ring up and speak to someone else, an open ticket is just that, open to whatever route/ class you would like to book.

I'd sit tight for a week, see what Boris has got to say. I don't think the US will open up 'till July at the earliest.

You can change it to whatever class you want ...I was economy and the cost of my voucher allowed me to go economy delight instead

Hi, if i cancel my flights for october and request an open ticket, how do i redeem the open ticket? Is it a booking code? Can i use the open ticket to book flights myself as soon as they are available online?
I have already moved them once and it was a bit of a stress talking to an operator making sure the price didnt go up as i was on hold for hours

You have to call or whatsapp them I'm afraid to use an open ticket.
