Mobile Working proxy server or package

Does anyone know a proxy server or similar that works in America to be able to use uk sites like iPlayer, sky go etc?

You could buy and setup a VPN while in the UK for a small fee. You'll only need it for a month if set it up a week or 2 before you go.

Tunnel Bear always works for me.

Does that mean leaving a machine on in the UK to 'work through' or do I have the wrong end of the stick here?

No it's just a virtual server you'll pay to have access to for a month to run your usage through.

IE you confirgure your laptop to use it and it works as follows;

Laptop using US internet ---> goes into VPN ---> VPN changes it to U.K. IP address and visitor and everything works as normal.

It basically just makes you look like you're using you computer the same as you do in the UK.

Proxybunker I believe do VPNs but do some searching for a good one. Should be between £10-20 as you want a high speed one.
