Mobile Old console on relatively modern tv

I have the black Atari 2600 that I want to sell on fb but need to check it is working first... do I need some sort of connector to get it to work on the tv as I have seen mention of this on internet but I'm not sure

The Atari 2600 connects via the Aerial socket. You should have a lead with an aerial plug on the end. Plug it into the TV and then you need to switch your TV from Digital to Terrestrial TV assuming your TV has the older Terrestrial tuner, it may not. If you go into TV menu setup and check. If you do have this option then turn on the console and start the tunig process on the tV to find any channels. It should pick up the console. If you can let me have the TV model number I may be able to find the manual online and give you some pointers

I have an Atari 7800 and agree with the above.

Can't bring myself to sell it unless £ is good.
