I would say it would take about 40 mins from Kissimmee depending on the traffic/ time of day.

Not far from universal, but a worthwhile trip from Kisimmee imho. I would pick it over any Citywalk restaurant. Really is worth the effort.

Dixonsontour does a good write up on it if you look in the trip reports. Apparently they have a secret menu which intrigues me!

Looks great. Trying to figure out how to fit this into our universal trip. I know people recommend lunch with kids but do you think a early tea( 5) would be OK?

We left universal about 6ish and drove there. It was perfect as not too busy. We got a table straight away. Believe me we needed a lie down afterwards so I thought it was the best time to go as we just went back to the condo and chilled round the pool. I wouldn't want to be going on rides after a meal like that!

I'd love to try it but not that confident driving over there to go off the beaten path. Looks so amazing though! x

It's perfectly safe for kids, at any time, the only complaints some people have had is that it is a bar and not a Disney family type restaurant. It can get a bit loud and boisterous Saturday and Sunday when the games are on the TV. We've gone with our Grandkids many times and they're not bothered. It really not different from taking them to a meal in a pub that's showing a football game. If you're comfortable with that kind of atmosphere then go whenever you like. Some younger kids might to bothered with the whooping and hollering for a touchdown but it's perfectly safe, the language might be a bit ripe but that's all.
