Everyone describes it as a lovely quiet hidden gem.
What we experienced was the complete opposite. The outside area was absolutely rammed, like there was some sort of block party going on. We could barely get onto the porch to check in for our reservation. Once seated we had the farthest table away from the buffet on the downstairs area. The queues for food were really long too (especially the carving stations). We wanted to go for a drink at Crockett's Tavern afterwards but couldn't get anywhere near it. To add insult to injury our server took our cash payment for tip & alcohol as well as charging both back to our room through our Magicbands. we did get this reversed though. The food was pretty good and I would love to give it another go on hopefully a quieter day but OH won't go for it.

Cookies, soft serve ice-cream, red velvet cake, banana pie, apple crumble/cobbler, peace crumble/cobbler. That sort of stuff.

Dinner is approximate $27.69 including tax, according to a Dis thread.

It was $78:77c for 2a2c in May 2014, we had DDP but got an itemised receipt. Adults was $45:98c and kids $27:98c (as those figures don't add up, but this is how they are on the receipt would the difference be tax?)

Trails End is fantastic, we went for dinner 3 times last year and DH has declared it his favourite restaurant. I LOVE the corn bread with the honey butter and the Salmon, its the best thing ever. I've got 2 ADR's for this year. x
