Disney park dining plans
Hi, I have a question about eating while in the Disney parks and Universal. I know you can get a dining plan if you are staying in a Disney hotel but can you get one if you are not staying in one?

No you can't. It has to be as part of a package with hotel and park tickets.

& just to add has to be for the duration of your stay. Not worth buying as it will work out cheaper OOP but if you are getting it for free ...

Thanks Ladies. That is a shame. My friend just got back last week and said the food is so expensive inside the parks, like £15 for a burger & chips! Any tips on saving money on food while in the parks? Also I'm not a processed food fan and would rather eating healthy, again any tips please?

Hi, have a look at the Disney Menus across the top of the Dibb page to see what options you have/prices. There are lots of choices besides burger and fries, for example in MK at Columbia Harbour House you can get salmon/cous cous and corn for $13.29/£11ish.
Portion sizes vary but we usually shared 2/3 meals between 4 of us but often didn't even eat lunch. We tended to have breakfast in our room, a snack in the parks then dinner at night. |

Thank you, that is most helpful. I believe the portion sizes are large so was planning on sharing meals as my boys are only 10 and don't have huge appetites. We have booked a hotel that does free breakfast and also has a kitchen so we can cook in the room when we get home from the parks.
