Alamo OLCI, Virgin gold + insurance and car seats

Morning all,

i've finally won the battle and booked our next trip, we took advantage of the virgin sale and booked a package - we normally would book all elements individually but price worked out cheaper as a package, direct from Glasgow.

Anyway, the reason for the post - we took virgin gold + insurance as it included unlimited free car seats...we need 3.

Can i use OLCI or will i need to go to the terminal because of the car seats and the need to collect them?

Also, do i just tell them how many i need on the day?

thanks for any advice.

Liam

You tell them how many you need on the day. We also need 3. We did the OLCI, and also with Virgin. Virgin now have a car centre just as you go into the garage (I presume it’s new, we haven’t seen or used it before), where they will help you with any problems, direct you where you need to go, etc.
You collect the car seats from behind the Alamo office in the garage, go and see which ones you want and take them to your chosen car.

I’ve used virgin and Alamo loads and although I haven’t taken a car seat before I think there is a option to add the car seat at the OLCI stage which if you have gold insurance it doesn’t apply any extra costs. Follow the Virgin holiday Alamo link which you will have on your emails from virgin as they have their own link which works best. As others said you can go straight to the garage and they have a office called pit stop which you get your free sat nav and car seats plus any maps etc and they will assist you with your car choice if needed.

I’ve used Virgin and Alamo and car seats. You can do OLCI and Skip the counter at OLCI you get to select the seats you need I assume as it’s included you won’t be charged. You do need to go to the Virgin hut in the garage but it’s not got a big queue. Then you just pick up what you booked from the garage-there’s a big pile of them you can’t miss them

Thanks very much for the advice.

Almost sounds too easy, but after a 10hr flight that's what you want!
