Tonight’s blend is delicious, a combination of kale, blueberries, banana, coconut milk, and almond butter. The tastiest so far.

Do you need a juicer or can you do the whole thing with just a blender ?

Body, just want to say well done on supporting your wife, so nice to read of someone offering kind support in the journey to health.

To do it properly I would definitely say you need a juicer. We upgraded our old centrifugal juicer for a masticating/slow juicer, gives a better yield of juice and less “bits”.
We also treat ourselves to a new Ninja blender, it’s the dogs……

Thank you. I will always support her, plus it also benefits me too. As much as I’ve gone through life (annoyingly) being able to pretty much eat what I like without any weight gain I’m not getting any younger so supporting the DW can only be good for us both.

Just prepped some rather green looking juice for tomorrow (celery, cucumber, spinach and some other stuff!).

So, start of day 3, actually feeling really good. Not currently having any withdrawals from coffee (usually have 6 a day!). I don’t particularly have a target weight loss, a few lb will do, the DW wants to lose as much as she can, think she’s hoping for a full stone.
Felt hungry last night but we made some mint choc sos balls (delicious) which went down well.

This morning we start with Minty Green Super Blend (avocado, banana, kale, spinach, mint, lime juice, and coconut milk). Today I think is a very green day but might change tonight’s blend… here’s this morning’s.

I did the super blend me a couple years ago, I hate to report I didn’t get one with it, I kept waiting for the kick people said you’d get around day 3/4 and it never arrived! I was a hungry miserable mess for the week!
Good luck though, I know a few people who love it!

Lunch time juice is Ginger Ninja. Very refreshing this one. Hope it gets me through to my 4pm juice….

In this one we have apples, carrots, lemon, celery and ginger.
I think tonight we’ll be making some apple crumble sos balls….

The plan is:
10am - blend
1pm - juice
4pm - juice
7pm - blend

Outside of that you can start the day with something like a ginger shot, maybe a green tea/peppermint tea. In the book there are recipes for “SOS” snacks if you’re in need of something extra.
