I think half of the dibb are going in April/May!

We are doing a Caribbean cruise 22nd April to 1st May and then 5 nights up in Disney at wilderness lodge!

Stil haven’t got our flights sorted so we may end up staying a few days longer if flights don’t work out… what a shame!

Also been looking today with BA for flights - have checked about 6 times and the price was different for the same dates each time! Cheapest for 2a 2c economy was £2567 mid afternoon. Our covid cancelled May trip from 2020, was only £1850 (same weeks) - not expecting it to get this low but am really hoping for under £2500, especially as will have to pay extra for seat allocation and there's no free dining. I hate the not knowing whether its worth holding out for a lower price as its so hard to know what is realistic currently.

If you're searching for a BA package, check the 'choose different flights' option. I was able to tweak things around to knock some money off. It's not all that intuitive so doesn't always select the cheapest/most practical flights. Also, if you're happy to depart from LGW and return to LHR (or vice versa), play around with that to manipulate the price.

We have a Disney cruise booked last week of April and may add a DVC week after into May. No flights booked but may use our AVIOS which have built up nicely, if there is availability. Need to fly into Miami for the cruise and a night in a hotel before so also May look at the BA “package” - always a safer option we have also used before.

Sadly we're not able to be flexible on dates and will be driving to airport so although happy to go for either LGW of LHR, we need to fly in and out of same one. Will just keep monitoring ready to pounce... Of course am now wondering if I should have booked the cheapest price yesterday! 🙄

Looking at booking something in before the current offer expires. I may need to move dates (hopefully not cancel) eventually as i may not get the dates off at work. For those who regularly book through WDTC am i better off...

A) booking the resort for one person and adding the other and tickets later so its a smaller deposit
B) booking both of us at the resort and tickets now to make reservations incase they're still required next year?

I know the deposits are pretty low anyway so if i needed to cancel it isn't a huge loss. I will then add flights onto the booking closer to the time when i have it confirmed with work.

Virgin Atlantic Fly Drive seem to have prices around £2300 for May 2022 for 2a + 2c including fully inclusive car hire.

Do not pay for seat allocation either.

Thanks! Unfortunately we’re not flexible on dates and it’s coming up as £4442.76 without all the extra car expenses for when we want to travel

I did see flights from Manchester via Frankfurt yesterday for £500pp, which may be an option if prices stay this high.

Wow, that was a great price. What dates are you looking for? We need to go on 27 or 28 May and fly back on 3 June. This morning the flights are £3626, which is a lot cheaper than yesterday but still more than I want to pay.

Economy at £909pp for that May half term week this morning, just in case anyone was looking.

This is direct though, indirect massively cheaper if you are OK with that.
