Oh no Water Parks closed because it is so cold 27/11
It is so cold in Orlando today that Volcano Bay, Aquatica and Typhoon Lagoon are closed today and tomorrow.
Temps to be in low 40's overnight |

Happened on both our trips. Dec 2010 it was minus 2C, Seaworld closed their big rides, all the water parks closed and we wore thick winter coats. And we loved it! Empty parks and we never felt tired so got loads done!

News 13 reporter filmed outside of Aquatica explaining about the cold weather dressed in coat, gloves and ear muffs - he was a bit incredulous about a Brit who was out for his early morning run in a pair of shorts and short sleeve T-shirt.
To all Floridians - Just keep calm and carry on. Normal service will be back on Friday. |

We're hoping to visit TL and VB so hopefully it stays nice and toasty!

The weather always amazes me this time of year and January, it can be literally freezing one day and mid 20’s the next.

Snap, we were there Dec 10 and Dec 14. 10 was the worst by far, remember being out on an Illuminations cruise one night and being b***y freezing

It has been so cold the last two days, we checked the temps today and it was colder here than it was in Edinburgh! Parks have still been packed though and the shops are selling gloves. 🤣
