Just letting you guys know that got message today for my Passport that it’s been approved, only applied for it on Monday and sent old passport back to them with ID on Tuesday, so a quick turn around.

Mine took exactly a week from them receiving my old passport to the new one turning up at my door

i took mine last friday , a selfie , sent old one saturday all approved & email today to say my new one is on its way via TNT
cant fault that |

Got my son’s new one today. Took a week from posting his old passport. He’s not impressed that it looks different to the rest of ours!

no idea what the issue was as my new photo that was accepted is definitely darker than my original one that they wouldn't pass through the checks! Anyway all done and dusted and 9 days from application the passport just landed on my door mat today!  It's very very dark navy, I can see why people think it's black - I shinned my phone torch on it though and it is definitely navy

Got mine yesterday as well, and def Navy even though hubby says its black..lol
I quite like it think l prefer it from the red/burgandy one. |

I prefer the colour of the new one too - never really keen on the colour burgundy 😂 |

Seems as though demand for new passports taking longer. Did online renewal 4th June and posted passport back same day. Tracked it and knew received 5th. Took until the 9th to post they had received it but no further updates since.
Hate waiting, it’s ok saying pictures good on application but never rest till says approved. Don’t want the hassle of having to retake after all this time |
