Oh that’s interesting to know!
I had to switch all my fans out for tower fans, as he was terrified of the noise from the standard fans so wouldn’t come into the room if they were on. It cost me a fortune replacing them all, but it was the only way to keep him cool. As sorry as I am that you’re also having it, I’m so glad it’s not just me ha ha

My Russian blue will not shut up at the moment, his miaow goes right through me.
He has to announce himself to the house every time he comes in or if he can’t see an actual human within 2 seconds of coming through the cat flap. He’s a pain in the ar**! |

Aww he’s gorgeous!
My cat does similar things. If we leave our bedroom door open at night, he will come in at about 3/4am and start knocking things off the bedside table, meowing loudly, jumping over us. We usually get up, give him more food, shut our door and go back to sleep. If we leave our bedroom door shut all night, he leaves us alone until about 7am! On the weekends, if we let him in about 7am, feed him and get back in bed, he will start knocking things off the bedside table and meowing until we sit up and then once we are up, he will go off to another room! They are cheeky and they do know how to wrap us around their little paws! Ours even meows when he’s about to do something naughty because that makes us look at him, so clever! 😂 |

Our son and family have what the call to unique cats ( ie heck knows what they are ) and a Bengal they have full. Run of the house and free access to a safe enclosed huge out door space
When DIL went on Mat leave right at the start of lockdown the 3 of them were peed off as she was in all day then Gd was born DIL is now working from home but since Gd went back to nursery full time and Gd comes to,us 3 days a week they guard the doors between them waiting on the kids to come back home. Or keep them up all night if the kids are sleeping over with us and get completely out of their comfort zone if we’ve got the kids and DS is night shift and DIL is on her own ( oh how they mocked us when we said the dogs did a bed check last thing ) she describes it as worse than a theething baby the amount of times she gets disturbed they work as a tag team to open doors get over the stair gate they can even put the lights on as there light switches are waist height push type |

Wow, it sounds like everyone’s cats are a handful right now. I’m so glad it’s not just me 😂😂
I actually threw their cooling mats away after winter as one had leaked all over the other one, but I believe Aldi have them on special buys right now, so I’ll call and get some new ones. Good thinking xx
