American milk for toddlers

Hi guys,

Apologies as this has likely been asked before.

I know from previous trips that american milk is slightly different to ours. This trip is slightly different as we'll be taking our daughter with us, her first time to WDW. She'll be 18 months by the time we go in October - she has a bottle before bed but I'm a bit unsure what the best substitute milk will be for UK full fat milk?

Any ideas appreciated.

Liam

They have full fat milk here too. It's called whole milk, has a red lid at Publix.

Guys,

Thanks very much. We had it in our heads that there was a difference in taste and texture. Trying to avoid any dramas.

Sorry to jump onto your post op but I'm also interested in this as my two year old also has milk at bedtime. Can anyone advise whether whole milk can be bought from an onsite shop? We are staying at AKL in December.

I'm sure you can get milk in the gift shop at AKL

I'm not sure but I think they only have semi skimmed milk. The stores don't have much choice they're not like a real grocery store, they just have a few bits and pieces.
