Celtic win 10 league titles in a row & I become a grandad. Not sure in which order of preference though !

At the ripe old age of 45, I have a bucket list I am slowly working through. I’ve lost far too many people young and don’t want to leave it too late to do the things I want to do.

Listened to a podcast today with Danny baker
He said he always spends his money and can't imagine when he's in his 70s saying I wish we hadn't had that holiday in Hawaii when we were young
Made me think

My sister very sadly died 4 days before her 55th birthday 10 years ago. I am 55 in 7 days time so I guess my wish is to be 55.

Our two eldest children are in their 30’s and lead happy, settled lives. Our DD is 18 and had just started university, so I would love to live to see her in her 30’s and settled and happy too

I hope that means you are content?

I can't think of anything obvious, my kids are all happily married and I am lucky enough to have 8 grandchildren. On the whole (touch wood) life is good but I am not ready to go! And I damn well want to live long enough to draw my state pension!

Such honest posts and thoughts - thank you everyone.

At the moment I have children and a wife who love me so I guess I could be described as content but not ready to go quite yet.

It’s not something I think about as I don’t like to think about “expiring”, but it’s funny this morning DH said “one thing I’d like to do in my lifetime is travel first class and have one of those bed/seats”
