When do your kids return to school in September?

I'm London Borough of Havering and although our 'official' return date is Thursday 3rd September, they have an inset day on the Thursday (as usual), but decided not to make the kids go back in for one day and popped one on the Friday 4th.

Therefore, we are back on Monday 7th September. What about everyone else's kids?

I'm the London Borough of Hillingdon, mine both go back on the 7th Sept. Irritated me as I booked our flights to come back on 31st August so they didn't miss any school, as they missed a week in October but I could gone later in August!

We're in Cheshire and go back on 3rd

Thought the flight prices might have been cheaper coming back so late in September... but nope!
I’m looking at Fri 21st Aug - Sat 5th Sep. So another drive down to Gatwick for us instead of Manchester.

Wednesday 26th August for 3 days then they are off for bank holiday the following Monday

We're in Essex. I'm back on Wednesday 2nd with the children as we have a week off in October instead of INSET days. DS1 and DS2 are back on Monday 7th as their school has the INSET days. It's my fault we can't stay later.
