It's a five-year journey.

Let the grief out, don't try to bottle it up or be brave, cry until you can't cry.

As stupid as this may sound today, you won't feel like this in a year, look up the five stages of grief and you will recognize what you're going through, once people understand that, it becomes easier, know and understand the process.

It's hard to lose your mother, the constant in your life, they leave behind a hole that can't be filled.

My condolences.

Just before my mum died I had a panic attack - my only ever one.

I think it's because I couldn't get my head around the fact she wouldn't be here anymore, wouldn't see me get married, buy my first house.

It's now been 2.5 years and it still hurts.

For me, I take each day as it comes, and I still talk to her and refer to her daily. So even though she isn't here, she truly is still with me.

I'm so sorry for your loss. x

That is really helpful thank you - I think that will help me greatly - at least it might stop me from feeling like I’m going mad!

Thank you xx

I do feel as though I’m close to panicking each time I have an outburst - I think that’s why I don’t want to be alone right now, as I worry I might not stop or calm down if I’m on my own.

Sending you big hugs xx

We planted a tree in the garden when we lost our darling mum in law and we go and talk to her there. We find it very comforting.
Take care of yourself
We did this too. I’m not one that feels the need to visit the crematorium and I like having this in the garden.
