Deep sleeper - Anyone have a lumie body clock light alarm?

Evening all

DD is terrible for waking up. She can sleep through a very loud iPhone alarm which wakes us up through a closed door with around 12m between us.

I’m thinking of a lumie bodyclock 150 for Xmas. Does anyone have something similar and does it help if you’re a deep sleeper?

Thank you

I have a Philips version and I find it does help me with waking on a morning. I wouldn't say I'm a deep sleeper though but it does help me feel more ready to get up when I use it if that makes sense.

Thanks for the reply. She is terrible so we need something to stop that horrid alarm. Only other option is shouting at her through the echo dot but that means me waking up to put on my iPad

I've had SAD alarm clocks now for a while, probably for the last 15 years. I think they're great for waking me up gently and if I wake in the night and it's not starting to light up then I know it's not close to waking up time.

Edit - I also have an echo that it set to the same alarm time as the SAD lamp. The alarm tone is the radio so I listen to the 7am news and then get up.

Yeah brought one a couple of weeks ago for DH Christmas pressies - we couldn’t wait so opened it early
DH has problems getting off to sleep and I can’t wake up in the morning Long and short of it - it works for both of us - I’ve not overslept since and everybody else says I’m in a much better mood

had a lumie for a few years, but then the lamp blew and took out the whole unit.

i replaced it with an LED philips one. that was maybe 6 years ago, and its great

not really used it since lockdown though, but prior to that, it really made a difference!
