I save air miles for business but it’s getting more expensive every time. Coupled with the fact our next trip will be in school holidays and I’ll need to try and find 4 business seats I doubt we will even go.
Thats going to be pricey isn't it. Assume you're planning on going next year then? Flights for school holidays this year are really cheap by comparison.

Using air miles isn’t affecting by the price and the air miles needed doesn’t change but there are two levels, off peak and peak. Hotel points are more dynamic and points needed vary with price.

Probably looking at 2023 now as I suspect 2022 will be the year the masses travel. I can’t see holidays happening to the US by summer without restrictions but with a new president it might who knows.

I think the train will be ok as long as people are not crammed on to it like sardines, imagine? ! Do you think there may be UK offers to entice us all back maybe?

Loved EMH at night. Will really miss that! If they offer DDP I think that’s incentive enough to stay but if that goes then we will not stay there. No reason to. Particularly if they scrap fast passes too and opt for a buy option (which we would consider paying and staying off site).

Yeah you could be right! I guess only time will tell but enjoy the planning whenever you do go!

The train will not be running by 1st Jan 2022.
Most people seem to think it will be 2023 at the earliest - one train per hour... Unless a 'shuttle' service is introduced in addition to the mainline trains. Who knows? (that's the problem) 😂

I never liked the magic express, always preferred a private transfer or a hire car.

Won't miss it at all, but I understand others will
